About Us

St. Paul Parish Athletic Association (PAA) is a non-profit self-funding organization formed to serve and support the youths of the Parish. 100% of all members are volunteers. Please contact us if your are interested in helping out in any capacity.

Our Goals

  • Promote spiritual, physical and social welfare by bringing Catholic truths, principles and ideas into everyday life.
  • Build character, develop good sportsmanship and learn to work as a team.
  • Create a fun environment in which all children can participate.

PAA Meeting

The PAA meets the first Sunday of every month @ 7:00pm in the parish office basement room #1 except in July. All registered parish members are welcome to attend.

Spring Sports Registration

Registration for the following spring sports for baseball. softball, track and lacrosse closed Feb 17, 2012. If you are still interested in participating, please contact the respective sports commissioner regarding the possibility of late registration.

St Paul Golf Outing

The PAA is hosting its annual golf outing on June 22, 2012 at New Albany Links. All benefits go directly to the PAA. To register or get more information, contact Jeff Kreuzer at 614-901-3317.

7th Grade Boys Basketball Tournament

The PAA hosted the 3rd annual 7th grade boys basketball tournament on Dec 27-29 in the Activity Center. St James the Less was tournament champion. For complete results, click here.

Birthday Generosity

Zach Bosco and Joe Revard recently co-hosted a joint 13th birthday party. In lieu of gifts, the boys requested donations be made to the St. Paul PAA and directed to the development of the new athletic fields. The boys presented $555 to Mike Murray of the PAA. PAA Open Positions

The PAA currently has open positions for Vice-President, Boys Equipment Manager, Cheerleading Advisor and General Fund Raising Manager. Please contact us if your are interested.

Alumni in the News

2011 State Soccer Champions - the following St. Francis DeSales athletes won the 2011 Ohio Division II State Soccer Championship @ Crew Stadium. The girls outscored their opponents 35-0 to set a record in Ohio State Tournament history.

The PAA no longer supplies shorts with the sports uniforms. Athletes are encouraged to purchase their own St. Paul game shorts.
