Catholic Institute for Biblical Literacy (CIBL)

Do you want to deepen your Catholic Faith?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, you need to participate in the Catholic Institute for Biblical Literacy program is for adults residing in the Diocese of Columbus who desire in-depth scripture study. Grounded in the teaching of the Dogmatic Constitution of Divine Revelation, Dei Verbum, this 2 ½ year course of study consists of eight courses. Each course includes eight 2-hour classes, taught by Master Catechists with at least a Masters Degree in Theology.
No particular educational background is required for admission to the Institute. It is hoped this study will deepen personal holiness for the laity, as well as enhance the ministry of Religious Education teachers, lectors, RCIA and Bible-study and other leaders.
