CARING FOR OUR WORLD 
St. Paul the Apostle Church was one of three finalists for our efforts toward "Environmental Education" at the fourth annual Emerald Awards luncheon, sponsored by the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO). Under the leadership of Fr. Dave Gwinner, our parish and school have become a pacesetter in recycling and other "green" activities in our community and our diocese. I am very proud of our achievements in this area. I believe that doing our share to preserve and restore the environment is an essential part of our duty to be good stewards of the creation God has entrusted to our care. I commend Fr. Dave and the many staff, teachers, and students of St. Paul who have taken this effort seriously. Thanks to all who have been involved in any way to make our parish "green."
