Welcome to St. Paul Youth Ministry!
|
We're not just a "Youth Group" ... we are a youth ministry!
What does it mean to you, as a youth, when we say we are a “total youth ministry?” St. Paul Youth Ministry offers many ways for you to get connected to Christ and other Catholic teens! We want to help you connect to your peers by building relationships, participating in community through service and social events and be a part of the greater Christian community. By joining forces with other parishes in Columbus and surrounding suburbs, we will participate in their events; i.e., concerts, walking stations, and inspirational speakers. We will be walking with you through your faith journey teaching you how to respond to real life situations through our Youth Ministry gatherings. Our mission is to create a variety of opportunities for you and your peers (grades 6-12) that respond to your needs and involve you in sharing your unique gifts with our greater parish and diocesan community.
Youth Ministry Mission Statement:
St. Paul Youth Ministry is a welcoming community full of fun, caring, and accepting people united by the strength of God’s love and the love that everyone shares with each other. While in St. Paul Youth Ministry you will find a sense of belonging, develop your personality, and discover your talents. Through this community and service to others we experience firsthand what it means to be a true disciple of Christ.
The Goals of the St. Paul TOTAL Youth Ministry are:
• Empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today
• Draw young people into responsible participation in the life, mission, and work,
of our Catholic faith community
• Deepen the personal and spiritual growth of each young person
Youth Ministry is about building relationships, not programs, and we are committed to doing whatever it takes to help our teens know how much our community loves them and values their involvement! It was for people, not programs, that Jesus lived, died, and rose.
