St. Paul Catholic School: Community
St. Paul School is a part of the St. Paul Parish community. The parish is comprised of approximately 14,000 members. St. Paul pastor and parish priests are actively involved and supportive of the school mission. Father Charles Klinger leads morning prayer one day a week. Students are provided opportunities to attend liturgy on a regular basis and also have the opportunity to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation throughout the school year. Father Klinger and the parish priests are available for classroom instruction, as well as training of altar servers.
First priority for school enrollment is given to children from parish families, in the order of their years of membership within the parish. In addition to tuition, the school receives financial assistance from the parish.
St. Paul School is a K-8 Roman Catholic elementary school. The school was built in 1961 and opened with an enrollment of 218 students, compared with 866 students today. In the fall of 1995, nine new classrooms were completed allowing space for 3 classrooms at each grade level from first through eighth. A school cafeteria and 3 meeting rooms were also added at this time.
