Sacramental Meetings for Parents
Parents of children preparing for a sacrament are required to attend various sacramental meetings as well. A schedule of parent meetings is distributed with a detailed calendar in September. First Eucharist and First Reconciliation are normally celebrated in the second grade. To learn more about our plans for the First Holy Communion Masses this year, please click here.
Confirmation is celebrated in the eighth grade. However, students in upper grade levels, who have never attended religion classes, prepare to receive sacraments through participating in the RCIA program.
Two-Year Sacramental Preparation
It is the policy of St. Paul’s Parish that no child receive a sacrament if he or she is not registered and regularly attending PSR classes for at least two years prior to the reception of a sacrament.
